Ruth Beck & Bill Sheehan Ornithological Research Grants Fund for W&M Students Each year, the Bird Club awards scholarship stipends to for one-four students in the Biology Department at the College of William and Mary for ornithological research. |

Bill Williams Nature Camp Scholarship Fund In September 2007, the Bird Club honored founding member, Bill Williams, by naming the Nature Camp Scholarship for him recognizing his leadership in science education. Each year, the Club awards one-three scholarships to Nature Camp, a private, non-profit, residential, co-ed summer camp specializing in natural history and environmental science education in Vesuvius, Virginia. |

Child Development Resources Seed/Feeder Fund The Club donates bird feeders and seed to CDR, a Williamsburg area public charity that strives to provide inspiration and empowerment through early intervention services for children 0-3 and their families. CDR is a comprehensive resource for parents, teachers, and physicians. |

Bird Club Conservation Fund Donated funds will be used to purchase materials and equipment to support the establishment and maintenance of Purple Martin Colonies and assist in preserving other bird species of population concern, such as Chimney Swifts. |
The Williamsburg Bird Club is exempt from federal income tax under 26 U.S.C. Section 501(c)(3) and is a non-profit organization eligible to receive tax deductible donations. A financial statement is available on request from the VA Office of Charitable and Regulatory Programs.
