We had a crisp but nice morning for our forth Saturday bird walk at New Quarter Park. The rain held off until the walk was over! We had around 18 people attend. Several joining us were from the Cape Henry Audubon Society. We saw 47 species of birds! Several highlights were a pair of Greater yellowlegs in the marsh by the dock, several Common Goldeneye ducks and every species of woodpeckers normally found in our area this time of year! It was great having several members of the Cape Henry Audubon Society join us and lend us there expertise!
