November Meeting: Fletcher Smith “Birding and Research Above the Arctic Circle”

11/14/2018 19:00 - 21:30
Integrated Science Center, Room 1127
Address: 605 Jamestown Rd., Williamsburg, VA

NOTE THAT THIS IS THE SECOND WEDNESDAY, NOT THE USUAL THIRD. We will join forces with the Historic Rivers Chapter of the Virginia Master Naturalists to hear research biologist Fletcher Smith speak. His talk, called “Birding and Research Above the Arctic Circle”, will be sharing with us information about the birds and animals encountered during each summer over the three years he lived in a field camp on the tundra on Bathurst Island in the Arctic Circle.
