Bird Walk at New Quarter Park, January 14, 2012

Our leader for the morning was Tom McCary! We had a total of nine participants. The bird of the day was the Common Loon foraging in Queens Creek. He gradually moved closer to us from the direction of the York River and everyone finally got good looks at him despite his frequent dives.

We recorded 25 species (listed below as entered in eBird).
