Our presenter for our October 18, 2017 meeting will be our club President, Bill Williams. He will be speaking on Birds of the Greater Antilles. Bill traveled to the Dominican Republic in December for research and then Puerto Rico this past March for birding. His presentation is sure to contain some good conservation stories as well as some great bird photos. 7:00-9:30 p.m., Andrews Hall, 605 Jamestown Rd, Williamsburg, VA. Refreshments will be served.

The yellow rumps are back in town and were well represented yesterday. After filtering them out, we had some great birds and good looks at Golden-crowned Kinglets, a Marsh Wren, Hermit Thrush, Swamp Sparrow, and Savannah Sparrow.
